Newly-opened Dundee development will hopefully attract big-name companies

John Swinney MSP visited Dundee today to officially open an £18m waterfront development that includes a purpose-build forensic centre - the first of its kind to be build in Scotland for almost 15 years.

Tayside’s leading property developer is celebrating after landing a place in the running for a top national property accolade. Unicorn Property Group – headquartered at City Quay in Dundee– has been shortlisted for best Scottish Property Company at the 2010 Estates Gazette Awards. The winner will be decided by the industry through a voting process and announced in June this year.

The Scottish Police Services Authority was today given the keys to its new £16.2 million purpose-built forensic facility in Dundee (writes Geraldine McKelvie).
