Opening of Waterfront Development
John Swinney MSP visited Dundee today to officially open an £18m waterfront development that includes a purpose-build forensic centre - the first of its kind to be build in Scotland for almost 15 years.

River Court and its neighbouring City Court buildings for a 100,000sq ft eco-friendly space that provides spectacular views both across the city and over the River Tay.

City Court was handed over to Scottish Police Services Authority (SPSA) to serve as a forensic facility for its DNA database, biology and chemistry laboratories, fingerprint and scene examination units.

The development was built by Unicorn Property Group, which was recently shortlisted for best Scottish Property Company at this year's Estates Gazette Awards in recognition of its significant contribution to the regeneration of Dundee's waterfront.

Director of Unicorn Property Group Tim Allan said "We hope that by providing high-quality office accommodation with breath taking views and top-class facilities Dundee One will showcase to blue chip businesses the capacity the waterfront location has to revive itself as a hub for enterprise in Scotland."
