The Dundee Waterfront Plan
Dundee City Council and the Dundee Waterfront Board has released a new vision of what the City waterfront will look like by 2030.

The high quality animation was used to provide context for Dundee City’s recent presence at MIPIM 09 in Cannes and for the launch of the Victoria and Albert Museum at Dundee project in February this year.  The short animated video shows how the Central Waterfront of Dundee will be configured after the successful implementation of the Dundee Waterfront’s 30 year plan that is currently in place.  This plan sees the City centre being tied back together with the Dundee’s best asset - the River Tay.  The video shows the configuration of the proposed street grid, the layout of the public space on the banks of the Tay and the parkland leading up to the front of the Caird Hall.  This space will be used for exhibitions, festivals and events and will provide a direct access to the River Tay from the town centre.  Unicorn Property Group is a big supporter of the Waterfront plan, and the vision for a great river city reborn.
