The 21 staff moving in include investment managers and financial services consultants. Director Ian MacDonald said the deal signalled confidence the company would continue to grow and strengthen its offering throughout Tayside.

Tim Allan of owners Unicrorn Property Group, which developed 12 new units of dockland commercial commercial space in the former maritime sheds, said: "City Quay has successfully let or sold nearly all the space in what amounts to a new commercial quarter of Dundee's city centre, set in dramatic old properties built as Victorian maritime sheds."

He dais his company backed the city's regeneration vision and had been rewarded by attracting a series of professional firms.
