The Panmure development at Dundee’s City Quay has received the award for Best Medium Development in Scotland, at the prestigious Premier Guarantee awards ceremony in Manchester.
Panmure is a luxury residential development on the site of the historic shipyards and original maritime buildings at Dundee’s Victoria Dock where the RRS Discovery was built.
The Premier Guarantee Housing Award for Best Medium Development in Scotland went to City Quay for “the perfect blend of old and new, heritage and contemporary townhouses and apartments in one of the most dramatic waterfront settings in the country”.
Receiving the award in Manchester, Colin Robson of Unicorn said: “This award recognises the quality of our waterfront developments in Dundee. We always knew that we were building something unique in a special location and it is great that the judges agreed! Our whole design team are delighted to have Panmure win awards at this early stage and those purchasers who have bought homes already can be satisfied that theirs is a prize winning development. Its good for Dundee and its good for us”.
Developers won awards on abilities to construct dynamic buildings reflecting the personalities of the regions in which they operate and their success puts Unicorn into the same league as industry leaders like Grosvenor and Urban Splash.
The award was presented to Colin Robson of City Quay by James May of Top Gear at the Palace Hotel in Manchester.
