Tim Allan FRSA is one of the founding Directors of Unicorn Property Group.

He comes from a background of private wealth management and has worked with some of the most prominent entrepreneurs and families in the US and the United Kingdom. Between 1998 and 2003, Tim worked for Citigroup establishing the Scottish private wealth office for the American giant. In 2003, Tim joined UBS, the world’s leading private wealth manager, as a director, focusing on Scotland and North of England.

In 2005, he left banking to join his partners in founding Unicorn Property Group, where his expertise in investment and marketing has been a key element.  Unicorn is an award winning property development business based in Dundee with a commercial and residential portfolio across the UK.

Tim graduated as an MA in History from St Andrews in 1988, and served in the British Army until retiring as a Major, in 1998.

In addition to being a director of Unicorn, Tim sits on the Scotland Committee of the BIG Lottery Fund, and has recently retired as the Chair of Young Enterprise Scotland, the leading business and enterprise education charity in Scotland.

In 2010, Tim was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, and was awarded The Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion in April of that year.
