Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Originally from Dundee, Sandy worked extensively in South Africa and neighbouring countries, on major building and civil engineering projects with South African construction group, Murray & Roberts. Sandy was Senior Quantity Surveyor on the University of Botswana contract between 1987 and 1991, a joint venture between Murray & Roberts and Taylor Woodrow International. This was the largest building project which had ever been undertaken in Botswana.
Returning to Scotland in 1994, Sandy joined Morrison Homes, a subsidiary of the Morrison Construction Group, as Commercial Project Manager for the North of Scotland, before joining Dundee based Torith Construction Ltd. as Senior Surveyor at the prestigious Drumoig residential development near St. Andrews, a project comprising of luxury detached dwellings, a golf course and hotel which has only recently been completed after a construction period spanning a decade. Sandy joined Unicorn Property Group not long after the completion of Drumoig.
