Unicorn Property Group was formed in 2005 to purchase and develop the City Quay area of the Central Waterfront in Dundee. Taking the name from the historic frigate Unicorn berthed in the Victoria Dock at City Quay, the group of companies at Unicorn Property Group has rapidly grown to cover a broad spectrum of development opportunities. Unicorn now has ventures across Scotland in Tayside, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Glasgow.

Initially Unicorn Property Group focused on residential building, mainly restortation and regeneration. But now, increasingly commercial properties such as the iconic DundeeOne play an important role in the portfolio. In addition, Unicorn’s residential work includes a sizeable element of new build, successfully carried out as either main developer, or JV partner.

Unicorn also has enormous experience in rural, residential conversions such as Parkhill which add capacity to the team with a different skill set. Unicorn Property Group’s work in this area of specific barn conversions has been featured in the press and on television, notably the BBC’s Landward series.
